Insight Builder

Ask questions about your data in your own words. The AI finds the answer and shows it, using one data source at a time.

Use the Insight Builder

  1. Pick a Data Source. The Insight Builder only uses the data source you select.
  2. Check your tables. The Tables & Columns panel on the left shows what's available.
  3. Browse AI Suggestions. Example prompts generated for your selected data source appear so you can see what's possible.
  4. Ask your question. Type in the question box (placeholder: Ask anything related to the selected Data Source...) and click Ask AI. The AI usually replies with a preview of the data and follow-up buttons to save the result as a Query, Chart, or Alert.
  5. Clear Chat to start fresh when you switch topics.

Anything saved via a follow-up button shows up under the normal View & Edit page for that feature.
